{Outfit} Ruffled Mermaid Skirt

NYC weather has been up and down recently, and it gets difficult to dress to, especially dressing from day to night. Instead of wearing one piece summer dress, I chose layered pieces to better cope with the weather. I found this ruffled mermaid skirt from Dezzal, I like the juxtaposition of the tropical prints on a structural silhouette, which reminds me of a flamingo dancer. To avoid being overly dramatic, I pair it with a plain white cotton t-shirt for a chicer vibe. You can definitely dress up or down with this particular piece depends on the occasion. Overall, I'm happy with this unique skirt, I just wish the bottom ruffles can be made with better materials. Otherwise, the fit is great. I wear a size medium.
