2016 is about big life changes for me. I started a bicoastal life between NYC and LA this year, and I think the biggest challenge for me is to adapt to the cool casual LA vibe... I admit I had been a little "uptight" over the years living in New York with all the suits and business causal outfits. But I think change is good. I'm really impressed with how LA fashionistas are on constant quest to craft a wardrobe complete with effortless pieces that both look and feel great, AND super versatile, And Made to last. These are all the great qualities I hope to include in my wardrobe. I start with a metallic pleated midi skirt, and a black duster coat. 

An iridescent skirt might seem like an unnecessary addition to your wardrobe, but its austere midi length makes the statement skirt surprisingly versatile. Pair it with a striped shirt and a pair of white sneaker for a casual look, or go glam with a halter top and heels. Also, I think it's a good "trendy" piece will mix well with your day to day staple neutrals.
