{Travel} Bordeaux, France
Bordeaux, hub of the famed wine-growing region, is a port city on the Garonne River in southwestern France.
It has been on my travel list for a while now, and thanks to my dear friends who decided to get married in a beautiful chateau in Bordeaux, I get to see it sooner! On a hillside overlooking a valley, surrounded by forests and rolling terrain, Chateau Logorce has the adventage of being located near the city of Bordeaux and amid the famed vineyards of the region- St Emilion. Getting married here is like a fairytale comes true. What's even better? I got to hold a wine glass everywhere I go, and sipping wine throughout my day nonstop :D
September is harvest season in Bordeaux, miles of vineyards and countless hanging grapes were everywhere next to the streets and highways without fence. The medieval village in Saint Emillion is charming with so much history, it feels like travel back in time.
It was surprising how busy and lively downtown Bordeaux is at night. It's full of varieties, liveliness, and funky sophistication. Every restaurant is packed with people. There are 3 key zones. Most good evenings start off amid the winding streets and many possibilities of the medieval St Pierre district. Many also end there.
